Holiday Tradition?!?

What would winter break be without viewing one of the all-time classics, A Christmas Story? Aside from doing that about a dozen times over the last few weeks, the boys took part in another holiday "tradition", a set of 100's, 100 of them to be exact. We do it primarily for the mental exercise as opposed to the physical challenge. They all know it's coming and it scares a lot of people. But after they finish, they know there isn't a set they can't finish. Each swimmer picks their own interval and if they miss one, they have to move down a lane to a slower interval. It usually mean you end up doing a couple extra 100's. We try to to get the guys to challenge themselves, and had a bunch who took a risk. Even though they couldn't make the interval for all of them, they did an awesome job. Today is a well-deserved day of rest (and lots of football) and we will get back after it tomorrow. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
