GBS Dual Recap

I wish I could say we had a lot of highlights from this meet, but that just didn't happen for the Spartans on Friday night. Our friends from Glenview swept us on all 3 levels and completely outperformed us. We didn't perform badly, we just didn't step up the way we needed to against a good team. There were some solid efforts, lead by Jonathan Roby setting a new GBN Sophomore record for a 6 dive (dual meet) event with a score of 243.75! The other "highlight" was the effort John Montgomery made on the last leg of the 400 free relay. Interestingly, GBS decided to split their relays and despite being about 12-15 yards behind, John almost pulled all the way back to their B relay, falling about .5 seconds behind. In the long run it didn't matter, as the Titan relay was dq'ed for a take-off, but a great effort just the same. Click for results.
